The exciting and rapidly growing ASEAN countries offer dutch entrepreneurs many opportunities. But what exactly does ASEAN have to offer?
In the past decades, The ASEAN region has become an enormous economic player. The ASEAN region has a population of over 660 million and a combined GDP of 3.1 trillion US dollars, this makes it an economic powerhouse. On top of that, the region keeps on growing. In 2030 ASEAN will likely become the third biggest market in the world.

What is ASEAN?
ASEAN was founded in 1967 to facilitate economic growth in the region and to improve social and cultural development. These 10 countries have created a free trade area within their countries. This is a cooperation between countries to remove tariffs and trade barriers for goods going to and from ASEAN countries.
The 10 countries in The ASEAN region are Brunei, Cambodia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand.
